Today I’m going to tell you about an interesting typeface that has many unique features. The font name is the Papergirl font and it is a hand-written typeface. It involved a humanistic feature in its development as its letters are drawn by hand.
The Papergirl font was created by the American Type Founder named Jim Parkinson as he devised it in 1993. The name of this impressive typeface is inspired by the “papergirls” who used to deliver newspapers door to door in the early 1900s.
The purpose behind the development of this Script typeface is to further utilize it for newspapers and other print media.
